The landlord of Laminex's Ballarat facility contacted Quality Energy in response to a change in Laminex's electricity billing structure that increased Laminex's electricity cost. Both the landlord and Laminex wanted to explore all options available to reduce their electricity bill. 

 

The Solution

Quality Energy designed, project managed and implemented a truly holistic energy efficienncy solution that combines:

  • Power Factor Correction to reduce their kVA demand
  • LED lighting to reduce their kW consumption
  • A 97.6kW solar power system to generate their own electricity 24/7 to reduce their power bill. 

The combination of all three solutions demonstrated Quality Energy’s ability to look beyond power quality to design, manage and deliver a complete suite of energy efficiency solutions based on our customer’s needs.
