Newly installed chillers were creating harmonics in Highpoint's electrical system. Harmonics have the potential to cause equipment malfunction, overheating and hardware damage, as well as taking the electrical system outside of the electrical network's code. 

 

The Solution

Quality Energy manufactured and installed a 450A Active Harmonic Filter solution made up of 3 x smaller, wall mounted, individual 150A Active Harmonic Filers and wall mounted to account for the lack of space in the plant room.
