Bayside residential complex becomes even more sustainable

The Problem

Situated bayside, customising a system to withstand inclement weather and sea-salt erosion, installing one system across one uniquely shaped eleven level main building and two three level low rise townhouses, with inverters located in the underground car park, proved a challenge our team successfully overcame.

The Solution

After conducting a site visit, analysis of the buildings' energy consumption patterns and carefully considering the structures and surroundings, Quality Energy çustomised one 90.2kW solar PV system consisting of 164 x 550W panels, installed across multiple buildings at different heights, and 2 x 10kW and 2 x 30kW three phase inverters, located in the underground car park for protection against the elements.

Benefits and Outcomes

This challenging installation now powers common areas such as the lifts, foyer lighting on every level, foyer air conditioning, 2 garage tilt gates, de-salination plant for water to the gardens and pool, garden/pool lighting, LED lighting throughout the car park and more.
